We love Malaga and our guests do too! So we have broadened our horizons and have acquired a mini modern addition to the Almohalla family, a one-bedroom apartment in the area of La Trinidad to the west of Malaga city only ten minutes walk from Malaga old town and the heart of the historic city. It is also only a 20-minute taxi ride away from the airport. The Malaga apartment to our hotel in Archidona is just 46 minutes by car or taxi and 1hr.20 mins by bus. So if you are looking to stay for a couple of nights on either side of your visit to Almohalla 51 in Archidona, look no further!
The apartment is situated on the first floor of a secure small apartment block, number C. It is modern bright and airy with aircon. There is a lovely double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, with a shower over the bath. In the large lounge, there is a double bed sofa and a table for 4 people. Our favourite part is the double window/doors giving access to an enclosed shady terrace (shared with the neighbouring apartment), with a table and chairs for your use. The galley kitchen is fully fitted with everything you need for your stay.
We leave complimentary tea and coffee and there are drinks left in the fridge which you are welcome to enjoy but please replace before leaving.

Trinidad is a thriving, bustling working neighbourhood in Malaga, which has historical connections to the gipsy community and a long legacy of links with Semana Santa and many other religious festivals including the Cofradía and a large number of religious icons housed in huge buildings in close proximity to the flat. There’s a really high-quality patisserie for breakfast pastries, water and beer at the junction at the bottom of our street and if you turn left there is a butcher, supermarkets, fruit and vegetable store, general purpose stores and some Cafes and Bars. Turn right instead and you will find three busy cafes – the last specializing in seafood. Go straight on at the junction and you will be heading towards the dry river bed Giadalmedina and Malaga old town, less than ten minutes walk.
