WHAT TO EXPECT
Enjoy a tranquil break unwinding in beautiful surroundings. Imagine starting your day with an invigorating yoga class outside on the terrace by the pool, with views of the mountains, whilst listening to the sounds of the birds. Then enjoy a healthy breakfast, before allowing us to take you out for the day to explore nearby ancient towns and villages. Late afternoons can be spent relaxing by the pool or wandering around the town, which has plenty of historic interest, plus excellent restaurants, for tapas and drinks.
Spend your evening relaxing and chatting over a delicious and healthy meal, with a glass of wine, watching the sunset, swallows and bats. Or for the more energetic, a walk up through the pine forest behind the hotel to the Sanctuary to the top, stopping at the stone seats set in a circle for a quiet moment of meditation.
For those who like to combine Yoga with walking
Andalucia is stunning, with an endless vista of green rolling hills studded with perfect chequered lines of olive groves.
Thursday – Tues. 3 nights / 4 days.
Daily programme.
Day 1. Pick up from the airport. Flight time depending, there is an option for a drink and Tapas at a local cafe. Walk up to Sanctuary or relax by the pool and settle in. 6pm Yoga class. Dinner at 8pm.
Day 2. 9am Yoga class on Iznajar lakeside beach. Late breakfast at the beach hotel. Visit Iznajar and its quaint hilltop town. 6pm Yoga class at the hotel. Dinner at 8pm.
Day 3. 8am Yoga class. Breakfast. Visit Antequera to explore the historic town, castle, and Roman ruins. Afternoon tea at the hotel. Sunset Yoga class on the hillside above the hotel. Dinner at 9pm.
Day 4. 8am Yoga class. Breakfast. Free time to relax by the pool or walk. Drop off at airport.

OUR YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Tracey Birnie has been practising yoga for over 8 years, she began after spinal surgery, as a way to improve her mobility & flexibility, and fell in love with the practice of yoga.
She has been teaching for the last 3 years in Andalusia & has led yoga retreats for groups.
She focuses on Dynamic Hatha Yoga, and her classes emphasise the benefits of breath and movement, with options for every level and ability.
Her classes are both challenging and nurturing, leaving students feeling energised and renewed.
OUR MEALS
We provide daily breakfast and dinner in the hotel (drinks are not included). After morning Yoga, enjoy a healthy breakfast of homemade granola, berries, yoghurt, eggs and juice.
Using locally sourced ingredients the dinner menu is created to include Spanish and continental cuisine, all of which are served either on the patio in warmer months or in the cosy dining room with a roaring fire lit in winter months. We always use fresh seasonal local Andalusian produce, particularly fruit, vegetables, olive oil, cheeses and Serrano hams.
For lunch there are good restaurants just a few minutes away in the town, particularly in the historic octagonal square, serving traditional, high-quality Andalusian cuisine. And if you don’t fancy a full meal, tapas and local speciality beers and wine, are always available in the local cafes.
We will tailor the menu to suit your dietary requirements.

We offer a range of bookable sessions to support and complement our yoga sessions to combine a completely holistic programme for balance, health and well-being. If you are interested in booking any of the sessions, booking in advance of your arrival is required and anything booked would be in place of a daytime activity. All additional sessions €40
