Walks around Archidona

Behind the hotel is the walk up through the pine forest to the Santuary, plus there are several other walks from Archidona. (eg. Walk up to Sanctuary and loop of Archidona. 8 k approx.) Or The Hos (the valley behind the football stadium) is part of the Malaga way walking range and you can walk to Malaga with several interesting village stopping points on the way. (eg. Archidona – Villanueva del Rosario 12k. Packed lunch or restaurant at end.)

Guaro and walk along the Zaffarraya train track

Drive to Banos de Vilo (Sulphur baths) Walk on Zaffaraya old train track and back 12 k to Guaro restaurant.

Guaro is a lovely village with a mountain water source. Walk along the disused train track and eat at the very picturesque Restaurante El Caseron de Guaro
